“The funding Senator Kelly secured will help with critical improvements in our downtown, which will have a direct benefit for area small businesses leading to more visibility, more customers, and increased sales,” said Mesa Mayor John Giles in the video. “I want to thank Senator Kelly and his entire team for helping make this happen for the City of Mesa.”
Since taking office, Kelly has successfully worked to strengthen Arizona’s economic growth and support small businesses across the state. Kelly secured funding for 50 projects across the state in this year’s federal funding bill which will better support Arizona law enforcement and first responders, protect communities against wildfires and floods, and improve access to health care and housing initiatives. Kelly also championed the creation of a Community Navigator Pilot Program at the Small Business Administration which assists small businesses with the application process for the Paycheck Protection Program and other small business relief.
