The White House

White House tour reservations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limited number of tours available. Tour requests can be placed up to 3 months in advance but no later than 21 days in advance. Due to the high demand for these tours, we encourage submitting your request as early as possible. Please note that White House tours can accommodate up to 50 attendees per request, and are subject to change or cancellation based on the White House’s schedule of events.

Public tours are typically available from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted. If your tour is confirmed, please note that you will be assigned a specific time by the White House based on their availability. These tours are self-guided and generally an hour long. Please only request tours for days and times you are available, as White House tours cannot be changed once they are confirmed. The White House is fully accessible to people with disabilities.

The U.S. Capitol Building

Please keep in mind that Capitol tours are subject to change or cancellation based on the events and official business in the Capitol Building.

Senate Gallery Passes are available upon request. The Senate gallery is open to visitors whenever the Senate is in session. On recess days, visitors are welcome to stay until 4:30 p.m., at which time the gallery closes.
