WATCH: Senator Kelly among Senators from Both Parties to Receive COVID-19 Vaccine

Today, Arizona Senator Mark Kelly was among Senators from both parties to begin receiving the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on the advice of the Office of the Attending Physician.

Kelly encouraged all Arizonans to take the vaccine when it becomes available to them, and to continue following public health guidance to slow the spread of the virus including wearing a mask, social distancing, and not gathering in large groups.

“This, along with the other mitigation steps like wearing a mask, social distancing, washing your hands – this is what is going to get us out of this horrible situation we’ve been in. So I want to encourage folks to get vaccinated when you can, and encourage your friends and family members to be vaccinated too,” Senator Kelly says in the video.
